Rivendell Elves
	The Rivendell Elves color pallete is more colorfull than the Lothlorian Elves, so I'm making this dress from  Rivendell.     This pattern has princess seams. The neckline is very high.   So far those are the only two things I'd change on this pattern.   I'll make a muslin 1st from some 200ct. cotton in white.  Since this is suposed to be a relaxing dress (after all the pattern has already been done for me) I'm not going to change the princess seams.  Just go with the flow and make the pattern and see how it turns out.	.

Materials
	With a 40% off coupon from JoAnn's I bought a blue cotton velveteen.  I have never used velvet and so I'm going to make this cotton velveteen overdress as practice for the silk velvet of Arwen's Mourning Dress.	.

Muslin = White Underdress
	There have been warnings about the sleeves on this pattern.  I'm glad I didn't read them before I bought it.  I LOVE this pattern!  The Sleeves are the very best thing about it.  Here is my muslin...which I liked so much I'm going to use it for the dress.	.

Sleeves
	Well I just cut out the velvet.  I kinda guessed at it, but I like what I'm seeing.   I have to sew everything together now.  I'm playing around with the sleeve lining and working on the embrodiery pattern for the white underdress.	.
